It includes specific nutritional plans to prepare each event. And which are those plans? Maintenance and training periods, pre-challenge period, solid food and liquids during the crossing and recovery after the event. Hydrate and nourish your body according to your physical and training characteristics for you to enjoy sport in a healthy way.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Open Water Clinic that was held on January 25th at the Bernat Picornell Swimming Pools! It was an excellent day that we hope you enjoyed as much as we did.

A great atmosphere and very interesting presentations by Jonathan Gomez, Anna Grifols, Roger Perez Arjona Sixtus. Technique, nutrition, dry land training, yoga and a pool session more than two hours long!

Neda el Món organises a new activity in order to improve your efficiency at open water swimming: a 3 days’ stay at the Crol Centre of Calella de Mar (Barcelona). There will be open water swimming sessions as well as sessions at the swimming pool. There will also be some sessions about nutrition, recovering, stretching, and training outside the water… . All these activities are aimed at improving your skills. You will stay at a double room and all the meals are included. Our technical expert Jonathan Gómez will be your coach. The cost is only 190€! You can’t miss it!

7 days - 10 open water swimming events

The BEST FEST will be the world’s first 7 day open water swimming festival and will feature 10 great swimming events, with 500 meters the shortest and 9,5km the longest one. The events will take place during all the week of 24 – 31 may 2014.

The sea surrounding Colònia de Sant Jordi, with the beaches of Es Trenc and Es Carbó as well as the coast line of Cap de Ses Salines will be the area where we’ll run the events.

It’s one of the most spectacular and natural places of all Europe and the perfect surrounding for open water swimming.
There will be over 7000 euros cash prices for the winners as well as lottery prices (swimming kits, hotel weekends, restaurant vouchers, etc.).
