3 more Neda el Món groups completed Gibraltar on September 2025!
9/25/2025
For 16 years now, Neda el Món has been taking groups of swim addicts to cross the Strait of Gibraltar. Our method seems almost foolproof: this year, 19 out of 19 swimmers who have tried with Neda el Món have achieved success.
The last groups were this early September:
- Danila Novikov (RUS), Daniel Ortiz (SPA), Ferran Fernandez (SPA) and Josep Sánchez (SPA) completed the challenge on September 2 in 4 hours and 28 minutes, completing 16.6km in perfect harmony and coordination. Spectacular!
- Rohan Crouse (South Africa), Ariadna Moreno (SPA), Victor Gregori (SPA) and Tuna Tunca (TUR) did it on September 4, with a time of 5 hours and 32 minutes, completing 16.2km. All 4 did it without wetsuit and Tuna Tunca became the first autistic swimmer to complete the Strait of Gibraltar. It was an incredible experience for both organisers and swimmers!
- Cesar Augusto Silva (BRA), José Alves (BRA), Denis Zapevalov (RUS) and Lluis Juncà (SPA) were the last group this year, completing the crossing together once again in 5 hours and 19 minutes. Great job guys!!
And thank you once again to ACNEG for the spectacular deployment and dedication with our swimmers. Thank you ACNEG!!
Next year, 5 more Neda el Món groups will cross the Strait with us. We love this work!
